Your service calls are very important to us. That’s why we have set up a Call Center specifically for Family and Bachelor Housing. Just dial 565 HOME (4663) and our Call Center Operators will take in your service requirements 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. To help facilitate your needs, the service calls separated into three (3) categories – Emergency, Urgent and Routine.

Just dail 565-HOME (4663) or 339-HOME and our Call Center Operators will take in your service requirement 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. To help facilitate your needs, the service calls separated into three (3) categories - EMERGENCY, URGENT AND ROUTINE.
Emergency Service Calls: Emergency service calls take priority over all other work and requires immediate action. Service calls are classified as emergency when they consist of correcting failures or problems which constitute an immediate danger to life, health, mission security or property. We will respond ton-site within one hour of notification and 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will execute or mitigate the problem within 24 hours of notification. Some examples of emergency service calls include:
- Overflowing drains
- Broken water or hot water pipes
- Major utilities failures
- Broken electrical components which may cause fire or shock
- Non functioning A/C for residents with documented medical conditions
- Complete water or power supply outage to unit

Urgent Service Calls: Urgent service calls consist of situations within the home that could become an emergency, could seriously affect morale or has command emphasis. We will respond to urgent service calls within two (2) hours and will execute the required work within 72 hours. Some examples of urgent service calls include:
- Hot water outage to a unit
- Air conditioning outage
- Inoperable commode where other operable commodes exists
- Broken or defective windows/doors that compromise security
Routine Service Calls: Routine Service Calls consists of situations within the home that are neither of emergency or urgent nature. Such calls will be carefully screened and/or a physical inspection by our service technicians will be performed to determine how the work will be accomplished and who should accomplish it (ie: GFS, BOS Contractor, other government contractors or self help). Routine Service Calls will generally be responded to within ten working days of notification and completed within 14 working days. Some examples of Routine Service Calls include:
- Outside door or door knob, latches, weather stripping, etc. is loose
- Garbage disposal motor is not working, but kitchen sink is still functional
- Entry door is rotting out
- Repair of floor coverings
- Broken or cracked masonry – sidewalks, blocks or ceramic tiles
